Many couples find that Christian marriage counseling has helped many couples trying to seek God inspired guidance when they need assistance. When you marriage is on the rocks you need good advice from marriage counselors. As Christians, you want to be certain that the advice you are going to get is in conformity with your Christian beliefs
The problems in your marriage will likely have been caused by an inability to communicate with each other on certain subjects. There may be other fundamental problems such as adultery, pornography, lying, and others. It is essential to have some counseling in order to save or help your marriage.
The advice that you may get from ordinary marriage counselors may be good but it will lack the guidance you are seeking from the word of God. Their intervention should strengthen your marriage whilst at the same time bringing you both closer to God.
A good Christian marriage counseling program will help draw you and your wife back together as well as giving you the God inspired guidance you both are trying to find. It will help you define your joint priorities together so that you both can focus on what you see as essential in the marriage.
Always ask for help when you are having such difficulties, and remember that it becomes more and more complicated to resolve your problems the longer you let thing slide. So bring back a little order into your lives with some good Christian marriage counseling. This is no time to leave your problems unattended.
It will likely not be easy to convince your partner that help must be sought by the two of you together. A counselor will be to help you on how you can persuade your wife that this is the best course of action to take.
Counseling is not without risk in that you are both going to have to face up to you problems, however difficult it may be to discuss certain of them. In reality you have no other real choice. You will discover that you are responsible for certain of the problems, and you will have to learn live with this. If it subsequently transpires that the marriage cannot be saved, you will at least have the satisfaction that you did all you could to try and save it.
